Dancer & Dance teacher
Sarah Bénaïssa is an educator, a multidisciplinary dancer and choreographer who highlights her artistic personality. She began her training at the Colomiers Conservatory where she joined the young ballet, she continued it at the James Carlès Center, then at the Art Dance International Center in Toulouse. She carries out several internships ( technique Ingeborg Liptay, They shave, Akram Khan, Hofesh Shechter, Alvin Ailey ).
Curious to learn more, she went to Barcelona for a year, at Ana Sanchez’s school where she developed her Jazz technique, classic, hip-hop, body percussion, and in contemporary dance with Nicolas Ricchini (ex company dancer Akram Khan) et Nadine Gerspacher.
She will do several stage and theater (Sarría theater in Barcelona, Montauban theater) and will lead numerous charitable projects.
Passionate, she decides to pass on her knowledge and thus develop her educational and artistic sense by taking the EAT with the choreographer Ray Morvan then the State Diploma at Isdat. Currently, dance teacher (contemporary/modern jazz) and project coordinator for shows, she puts to profit her acquisitions obtained during her numerous meetings.
In 2022, Sarah joins the Filao company team and participates as a performer in the quartet Equality.
