Musical creation
In 1989, he left his electrical engineering studies to devote himself entirely to his passion: Music.
Self-taught, he toured the local and then national scenes in various creative rock groups. Music lover, his curiosity leads him to open the drawers of the most unclassifiable music.
Trained at the Center des musiques Actuelles (Valenciennes) to the “professionalization in the music profession” (1993/94). De-formed at the Workshop “Improvised music with an unclassifiable tendency” by Marc DEMEREAU at Music’Halle (2005/06), then reinforced in this approach of an improvising musician during a “Workshop” with Joëlle Léandre (2009)
Laurent likes to mix the physicality of his sounds with other practices of artistic expression: plastic surgeons, poets, actors, performers and dancers; he has been questioning for more than 15 in the sound/movement relationship through work with dancers and choreographers,
These encounters led him to practice contemporary dance since 2017 in various courses and workshops. He also expresses himself through photo media & video.
He signs for the company the musical creation of Mirror.
